Living in an era where technology is rapidly advancing, has changed the perspective and patterns of shopping for society. Currently, the majority of consumers are shifting towards a more service-oriented approach, forcing companies in the market to expand their space for innovation to adapt to changes in the system. A study by PWC has shown that 43% of consumers are willing to pay more for a better customer experience. By making the experience immersive, consumers show a greater incentive to shop. Customer experience itself is becoming the main factor that determines the level of a consumer's desire to make a purchase, return to the company, or recommend the product to others. A quality experience is one of the keys to a company's success.

In response to this information, there is a wide opportunity for businesses to strengthen their service aspects and if necessary, to change the company system and utilize technology applications in their business operations in order to obtain brand advantages in the market. The S1 Business Student Association of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya is holding a competition in ECHONVENTION 2023 that raises the theme of "Immersive Customer Experience" to support the empowerment of young people to adapt to technological developments and changes in dynamic and increasingly service-oriented consumer demands. This competition encourages participants to broaden their knowledge and critical thinking skills in solving real business problems. Participants must have the sufficient business knowledge and be able to use that knowledge to analyze internal and external conditions.
